November 2025: Little Black Sheep Coffee has a trade site at the Nelson A&P show. Super exciting weekend as we win our very first award, Best New Trade Site 2025.

Pretty Crafty Market

November 2025: Our first every Pretty Crafty Market was pretty cool! Can't wait until next year!

4th Flavour: Maple!

November 2025: Maple makes its public debut as our 4th flavour in white label bags. It had been a secret flavour, only available at Jumpin' Nelson. Maple was an instant hit and quickly become one of our best selling flavours-Thanks Phil! 

Nelson Market

November 2025: Little Black Sheep Coffee begins selling at the world famous Nelson Market on Saturdays. This historic occasion also marks the first time 75g bags are offered.

NELSON FARMERS MARKET

October 2025: Little Black Sheep Coffee becomes part of the Nelson Farmers Market on Wednesdays. This historic market is a great way to connect with new customers.

PUBLIC DEBUT!!

September 2025: Little Black Sheep makes a public debut at the Nelson Home & Garden Show. Over 2,000 free samples were served, and new customers were gained. This was an amazing event for the company and reinforced that Little Black Sheep Coffee is a premium product people love!

4TH RETAILER GAINED!

August 2025: Cultural Conversations becomes a retailer and huge supporter of Little Black Sheep Coffee. We love Tanya and all the awesome things she does at Cultural Conversations!!

3RD RETAILER GAINED!

July 2025: The Coffee Company becomes our third retailer. They attended the NMIT focus group and wanted to offer Little Black Sheep Coffee to their customers.

2ND Retailer Gained

July 2025: Getting Little Black Sheep Coffee into the Pic's Peanut Butter shop was an amazing win!

NMIT FOCUS GROUP

June 2025: NMIT focus group was held to get public feedback on the 3 original flavours. Featured a collaboration between the Marketing, Hospitality and Photography students at Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology. 

FIRST RETAILER & NEW FLAVOUR

March 2025: Scored Our First Retailer! Jumpin' Nelson. Phil inspired the creation of the Maple Flavour, and created a "Canadiano" with it!

The Beginning

2024: Little Black Sheep Coffee was born from love. Pete worked as a roaster at Pic's Peanut Butter and used those skills to roast and infuse coffee. His wife, Anna, missed flavoured coffees from the states so he set out to make her the perfect cuppa.

The original three flavours Blueberry, Hazelnut Chocolate and Vanilla were created in his garage turned roastery and shared with Pete's family and friends.
